COMMUNITY POLICING

INTRODUCTION

Community policing involves the police working closely with the community to identify and solve problems, rather than simply reacting to calls for service. It is based on the idea of service, and that the community is an integral part of the policing process and that by working together, the police and the community can create a safer and more liveable environment.

Jhargram Police leaves no stone unturned to ensure that it's community policing endeavours reach up to the last mile and serve the most needy. A compilation of some of these initiatives and their impact on the community.

The app also has an inbuilt helpline number to reach out in cases of emergency. A noble initiative such as this reflects the concern of Jhargram Police for the well being of one and all.
